The Proteus MK-I RC survey boat was created by a field expert to handle tough performance demands in harsh environments and the unpredictable challenges of each deployment. Above all, it was built to be versatile, easy to maintain and operate, and affordable for smaller agencies and consulting firms.
The sleek design makes it perfect for reaching hard-to-access spots that are too shallow or restricted for regular vessels. It’s quick and easy to launch, and non-intrusive in sensitive areas. Safely operate under docks, bridges, or inside damaged water tanks. The Proteus MK-I RC bathymetric survey boat is built to handle very tight and often hazardous environments.

Compact enough for overnight priority shipping to a worksite, the design offers a great platform for a range of industry-standard current or bathymetric measuring tools like ADCPs or other transducers. The topside provides plenty of room for survey data gear, including media and 3D scanning equipment, while the interior holds the batteries, control system, processors, and/or transmitters. The Proteus isn’t limited to a single task, and DTSS will assist in setting it up for a client’s main objective.
