The Proteus MK-I RC survey boat was designed by a field professional to meet performance standards inflicted on field equipment in harsh environments and the uncertainties that come with every mobilization. Above all, the Proteus MK-I was designed to be versatile in applications and simple to maintain and operate while remaining affordable to smaller agencies and consulting companies .
The sleek design is practical for those hard to access areas that are just too shallow or restricted for regular vessels. Quick and easy to launch and non-intrusive in sensitive areas. Operate under docks, bridges, or within damaged water tanks with safety. The Proteus MK-I RC bathymetric survey boat was designed to operate in very tight and often dangerous areas.

Small enough to priority ship overnight to a worksite, the design provides an excellent platform for a variety of industry standard current or bathymetric measuring equipment such as ADCPs or other transducers. The topside has ample space for survey data equipment including media and 3D scanning equipment. The interior houses the batteries, control system, processors and/or transmitters. The Proteus is not restricted to any one particular task. DTSS will help set up the unit for a client's primary task.
